Brussels Climate Week

Steel for Packaging Europe is excited to partner with Brussels Climate Week to demonstrate, in a very tangible way, what a circular material economy looks like when it moves from policy language into real life.

Brussels Climate Week takes place 12–16 October 2026, bringing together policymakers, industry, innovators and communities around climate policy, innovation and competitiveness.

Steve Claus will be speaking during Industry Day, 14th October, discussing how good circular policy should recognise materials that retain their value through multiple lives.

SfPE is also supporting the development of the two winning concepts from the Brussels City's competition to provide shade in the city using materials and products that demonstrate circularity. It's a simple but powerful illustration of circular thinking: keep valuable materials such as steel in circulation for as long as possible.
