Steel for Packaging Europe releases its Circular Economy Act position paper

SfPE has released its position paper the Circular Economy Act (CEA). The European Commission’s new CEA aims to accelerate Europe’s transition to circularity and  is expected for Q3 2026

With high recycling rates within a closed material loop, steel packaging already enables a true circular economy, aligning with EU sustainability policies and waste reduction goals.
